While FGIA always brings in quality keynote speakers, I must admit, I am especially excited for FGIA members to hear from Ryan Hawk, best-selling author and podcast host, at the upcoming FGIA Annual Conference in Orlando, FL. I first heard Ryan speak at my husband’s company’s event, and I was moved by his stories of being capable of going after the things he wanted while also taking care of those around him. He spoke about how this philosophy can be applied to leadership in business as well, and I am excited for our members to hear all about it. During the conference, Ryan will present “Becoming a Learning Leader.”

I am a big fan of Ryan’s podcast, The Learning Leader Show, and I encourage everyone to give an episode a listen before hearing him speak. FGIA Executive Director recently sat down with Ryan to share some background information about our industry. We told him about its current successes and challenges, such as business growth, finding talent in the workforce, and then maintaining those valuable workers, as well as the recent increase in product regulation. We also talked about the changing dynamics of multigenerational workforces, both hybrid and remote, and productivity. These matters will be brought up in Ryan’s presentation at the conference.
